It’s because Microsoft had an amazing year with Xbox. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t be more excited about the fantastic exclusives games that have hit PlayStation 4 lately (The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Persona 5). But up until these games released late last year into Q1 of this year, the PS4 was starving for exclusive games and/or features in 2016. PS4 had more retail exclusives and more exclusive indie games as well as the fact they released PSVR, PS4Pro and PS4 Slim in 2016. PS4 also had the years most awarded and highest rated game.

It was an ok year for me. There was some nice console exclusive games, but a few flops as well. I still had plenty to play on my XB1 and even more to play on my PS4. For me 2016 was a pretty good year.

I can't say I agree with this. I had fun with both Gears 4 and Quantum Break (yes, I actually liked it), and am still planning to get Forza Horizon 3, but compared to the PS4 I can't really call it 'outstanding'.

2016 was less one sided than this year but in favour of the PlayStation all the same. Personal opinion won't change the facts many try to manipulate due to their egos being trounced on. Some of the criticism towards the x1 is unwarranted but only the most ignorant types could say there was only 2 games on the PlayStation worth playing last year.

Whether or not you were disappointed is irrelevant. It did exceptionally well among reviewers and sold exceptionally well. I think that's fair evidence to say that you're in the minority (assuming, of course, you actually played it... and assuming, for once, you're not trolling).

That said, it simply must be considered objectively when talking about a list of games. Using your logic, if a Halo game released to critical acclaim and I said nothing was worth playing on Xbox, I should expect to be criticized for it, and rightly so. Just because I don't like Halo does not suggest I'm right.

In the time you waited for it since Alan Wake, we have all enjoyed Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, the critically acclaimed and award winning Left Behind Expansion, The Last of Us Remaster, The Uncharted Drake Collection that ND helped out with AND Uncharted 4. This year we are getting a standalone Uncharted followup and next year, more than likely, The Last of Us Part II.

But don't you worry, you will get to wait for Remedy's next, 6 years in the making, disappointment all over again in 2022. "Disappointment" is an understatement for what QB was.

Because it's a less than mediocre console that keeps disappointing, and people are baffled that some people are so delusional, that they celebrate and cheer the less than mediocre offerings from MS, while downplaying anything PS because they feel the need to keep telling themselves that they made the right decision buying an XBox, while they are consistently given the bare minimum all while cheering MS for it's "amazing lineup and features".

i agree with you on the liberal thing, but obviously some people don't consider the xbox one mediocre if they prefer it. I like the xbox one better because i prefer the controller, and i prefer xbox live to psn. Also, the xbox ones lack of exclusives doesn't bother me because i play mostly third party games and idxbox titles. Also, i have a ps4 to play whenever i do want to play one of their exclusives. A lot of sonys exclusives are niche titles in my opinion anyway such as nier, yakuza, etc. I did enjoy nioh and i look forward to persona 5. All i'm saying is it's ok to not be a sony fanboy. I've stated very clearly why i prefer xbox and i've also given sony props for having more exclusives, so if you have negative comments you're just a typical troll.
