Carl Williams writes, "Late last year I brought up that Morphite is like the polar opposite of No Man’s Sky with life filled worlds to explore. Many of those worlds featuring hostile enemies to avoid and buildings to explore. Basically, you are not going to be longing for action in Morphite."
Morphite is a mix of many different genres that evokes the feeling of No Man's Sky. It does it's own thing, though, as it adds a bit of Metroid weapon progression and level unlocking in it. It's a budget priced game that can be fun despite it's flaws.
Morphite is by no means a mere imitation of No Man's Sky. It has its own ideas and despite some minor faults, executes them very well.
