EB: Telltale released a new episode from its The Walking Dead: A New Frontier series this week called “Above the Law,” so we fired it up, made some tough choices, and reviewed it. You can catch the full review below via the embedded video. If you prefer to read you can do so with the script, which is listed under the video itself.
John from TVG writes "Telltale has returned to us with their Walking Dead series. Which to me is their best series that they have to offer? Season three has five episodes and boosts the return of our favorite young lady Clementine who has been a bit-part character in season one and the main protagonist in season two."
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
Episode 3: Above the Law has the unfortunate task of following up the double feature finale that took us through many different kinds of emotions and was still able to end on an interesting twist. Ending on such a high note understandably leaves your expectations high, and while Above the Law has a couple narrative high spots, it ultimately falls flat with an overall slower episode and cliched antagonist plot.
Middle of Nowhere Gaming writes, "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier unfortunately takes a substantial hit in it’s third episode, “Above the Law”. As we fall deeper into the complicated family dynamics with Javi and company, tensions within the newly introduced community simmer, but fails to create a strong episode."
