Indeed. AS a fan of decent indies there's some fantastic titles on the machine already. been having a great time with blaster master, Fast RMX and Snake Pass.

Neonridr2998d ago

Don't forget Shovel Knight if you haven't played it before.

wheresmymonkey2997d ago

I have it on PS4/vita. Might double dip when it inevitably ends up in a sale though.

Thunder_G0d_Bane2997d ago

And we got the impeccable Mario Kart 8 April and many more indies between that an E3 where we'll get more game announcements.

Its a great time to be a gamer!

So much salt around here I'm surprised this article got approved in this place.

I bought zelda for the wiiu as i didnt see the need to buy the switch because nothing other than zelda was compelling enough for me to spend 300 on.

If you enjoy overpaying for indies that have been out for awhile on other consoles and a market place that looks like the also indie filled Vita's ( for which it was criticized for..) then enjoy your solid line up.

The author clearly doesn't frequent the N4G comment section or he'd know there is NOTHING worth playing on the Switch.

Istolla2997d ago

ROFL. 1000 points for sarcasm.

superchiller2997d ago

"surprisingly solid first month of games"? Seriously?

The Switch games announced and released so far are an embarrassing joke. Clearly Nintendo failed to deliver a truly competitive gaming console, and most 3rd party developers are not bothering to support it. Way too little power in the console making it completely unable to compete, already this looks like the Wii U all over again.

BLKxSEPTEMBER2997d ago

It's crazy how ALL the positive comments in here gets more disagrees than agrees and the negative comments gets more agrees than agrees. Hmm I wonder which fanboys are salty...

Bennibop2997d ago

Not sure that's entirely true.

I own a Switch and it has been a very lacklustre launch with only one proper AAA title that was also on WiiU and other titles that are either indie and or close too (1-2 Switch & Bomberman R.) There is not a lot in the pipeline from 3rd parties and 1st Party AAA are in reality remasters.

I think people have genuine reason to be concerned because the Switch as a piece of hardware is a good concept.

BLKxSEPTEMBER2997d ago

Nah it's just the way this site is. I've been here long enough to know better.

Istolla2997d ago

That's your experience. That doesn't apply to everyone. The Switch has been a breath of fresh air for me when everything else has been stagnant.

Gemmol2997d ago

whats your friend code

PapaBop2997d ago

The only salt I see in here is seemingly coming from you.

BLKxSEPTEMBER2997d ago

Yeah I am salty that people can't come into their console of choice thread and have good things to say without haters from a different camp disagreeing and not have the balls to explain why in a rational way. You seem to been the type who does soft shit like that.
