Quantum Break is XB1's "The Order", not terrible, but also nothing close to amazing.

Gears 4 MP is really good, the campaign was average and the ending killed it for me.

I'd personally like to play SO.

Forza Horizon 3 though is amazing, anyone who is remotely interested in arcade racers would love it. My personal favorite arcade racer ever.

HALO 5 easily was the worst of all the HALO titles. The story attempted to demean the Chief and ram 343's ridiculous creation Spartan Locke down our throats. The multiplayer we once loved evolved into Call of HALO twitch shooting designed to sell REC points on the store. No matter what 343 does at this point they will forever be in the shadow of Bungie when it comes to HALO. Their attempts at one upmanship have mortally damaged the franchise. Had they just accepted their role in the beginning and acted as caretakers of HALO and its canon perhaps matters would be different. Instead their acts to out Bungie Bungie have turned Spartans from a handful of chosen and very special people into the new mass produced mediocre units where anyone at any age can become a Spartan.

I see a lot of hate for Halo down here but I'll defend Halo 5. I'll give you the story and lore but the gameplay is some of the best. It's ultra competitive yet friendly to causual players with warzone/social playlists.

Also the free DLC and support has been nothing short of phenomenal considering now a days we pay for everything. I own both consoles but someone who is a PlayStation only player dismissing Halo 5 would be missing out. I think there is plenty of the PlayStation audience that would enjoy Halo 5.

It isn't hate for HALO, it is love for HALO. I am a Sony supporter but remarks dating back to my earliest days on here show what I have always thought of HALO. I owned 5 Xbox 360s including the first HALO Edition and a Gears Edition. The sole reason I have two X1s is the MC Collection. HALO isn't just a great series but great Sci Fi. But I am not about to defend, just for the love of HALO, what 343 has done in particular with HALO 5.

I think Uncharted 4 is a great game but for me it isn't Uncharted. And I have made remarks about that very recently as well. Regarding the actions of 343, I keep thinking about The Bourne Legacy and the words of Adm Turso played by Stacey Keach, as he spoke to CIA Director Ezra Kramer played by Scott Glenn. "You were given a Ferrari and your people treated it like a lawnmower."

@SardoNumspa - try again. Xbox One is tracking even with Xbox 360, numbers wise. Which actually performed very well for them, even compared to PS3.

The point is on any of these articles is the fact that they are erroneous because if people would "kill for" them they would likely also simply buy the other system then. If you aren't willing to fork out money for another system then you likely aren't going to kill for a game on it.

I agree I really enjoyed quantum break but wether the majority would not only that is it a system seller... hell no it's quite a good game but a solid 7-8 tops really. Forza maybe a 9 at a push just seemed like an upgraded test drive unlimited and still can't get over the fact there was a solid unsmashable tree.... in the racing line... how is that the racing line if your gonna stop dead when you hit the tree ;)

Quantum Break? Would any PS4 owner kill for that? I mean that was the game I was going to finally "jump in" for but it turned out it sounded like it wasnt what I wanted so I no longer felt like it was worth buying a console for.

And Halo, Gears and Forza? Well theyre just the Xbox staples, if you really wanted to play those you would have bought an Xbox when they came out. I dont see any PS gamers being particularly jealous of any of them.

The only one I really wish I had was Sunset Overdrive, because it looked fun, different and I know what a talented devs Insomniac are and have supported them for a long time. The only other games on XB I really want bad are Ori and Cuphead which is why I dont have one yet. Its not really enough incentive for me. That and I would have liked to at least try Ryse. I think it looks fun and very pretty.

I decided to pick up an Xbox one s around Halloween last year after I got a great deal on one through work. Got it for the sake of picking up the exclusives.

From the ones I've played, Forza Horizon 3 is incredible and Dead rising 3 is great fun. Quantum break actually seems good. Gears 4 was great too (still I think a best of multiplayer only version would be all the PlayStation crowd would need) Sunset overdrive is a blast. Halo 5 is pure trash, Odly enough I could spend a lot of time on Zoo Tycoon. Super hot is awesome. Ori is gorgeous

I've enjoyed most of what I've played so far but other than the fact I need to finish the titles I have started I feel I've run the well dry already. Not good 6 months later.

I played most of the exclusives on the X1 and the only good one out of them imo was indeed Sunset overdrive. It sucks that the series was pretty much dead out of the water when it's literally the most interesting thing on the console. It felt like Rachet & clank with Tony Hawk and saints row to me.

Here's the funny thing. Last gen I bought a PS3 and when Mass Effect released, I ran out and grabbed a 360 because it was a killer app that was worth the purchase. Then I caught up on other exclusives. It's been 3 years and the only game that I planned on buying an X1 for was Scalebound. It's sad because I really want to buy a Scorpio, but Crackdown won't do it!

There's a lot of legal limbo with Nintendo (producer), Rare's people that worked on the game, and EA (owns Bond game license).

Plenty of other games in the package worthy of the purchase but goldeneye was never gonna happen it was owned by rare who had ties with Nintendo the license went to activision and EA dunno where it actually is now but to release in Microsoft consoles you'd need to get license or permissions off a whole lot of people. Current licenses holders and all the previous people who created goldeneye can't see it ever happening which is a shame I'd buy an Xbox Scorpio day one for goldeneye Haha.

Goldeneye wasn't included for the same reason the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, and Mickey Speedway USA weren't included. Microsoft can't put games it doesn't have the rights to inside a compilation, that's not BS that's common sense.

Gears 4 looks like easily the worst Gears ever released(worst than Judgement, because of all of the cartoony characters instead of grunty kill-the-horror type characters like Marcus, Dom, etc. Marcus's son fell far from the tree)
Halo 5 was generally a letdown.
I don't identify with Sunset Overdrive's humor(well, I don't like Ratchet and Clank either so...)
And Forza Horizon 3... seriously? Another Forza? I'd rather just hold out hope that NFS does a semi-decent arcade racer this gen.

Ratchet & Clank - phenomenal platformer with stunning visuals. Not into Insomniac games or platformers?

Yakuza 0 - highly rated Japanese open world rpg. I know it's China, but did u play Sleeping Dogs?

Second Son - visual showcase with superb combat and controls. Just Cause? Crackdown?

Gravity Rush 2 - gorgeous open world game with a beautiful anime-ish style. Can't think of a comparison.

I hated having to always grind. We got the kids an Xbox One for Christmas in 2014 and in two weeks they traded it back in. The twins were 10, Brandon was 14 and Justin was 16 and they have all played the major Sony exclusives. So even kids can tell what quality is.

I've had a PS4 since launch and bought an Xbox One just for Gears 4 and it didn't disappoint. I haven't bought any other games due to lack of interest so I can't really say if one game is worth a $300+ investment. PS4 has had a lot of superb exclusives and Xbox One is clearly failing to keep up.

You are entitled to your opinions, and I won't counter what you feel the price of a game should have been. But, the developers of the Order made it very clear about its cinematic approach well before launch. If you had different expectations, well, that's on you. I would have loved for the Order to be a longer game, because I thoroughly enjoyed it. But it has a good story with good pacing (no fillers to drag out play time), the game play mechanics are solid. Being short doesn't make a good game bad. That's like saying only having a bite of a perfectly cooked steak makes the steak disgusting.

As far as Quantum Break, I can't really speak on it since I couldn't finish the game due to the grainy graphics and constant ghosting. It would make me feel uncomfortable playing it and I couldnt adjust, so I stopped.

QB and Halo were a huge disappointment for me, I'll try and finish Gears 4 but I can't get myself to finish QB and Halo.
I bought my X1 for Tomb Raider and SO.

It's been the least played system compared to my Wii U and PS4.

Quantum Break is up there with Bloodbourne, Nioh, and Breath of the Wild for me. Best Xbox one game for sure. Also really loved Recore, Gears 4, and Forza Horizon 3 which is the most fun and addictive racer ever made IMHO. It has some killer games but lacks big new ip's that catch on and the sequels we want we don't get.

Where is Lost Odyssey 2, Alan Wake 2, Battletoads, Fable 4 or a reboot, and the other fan favorites? MS is screwed unless they change the perception of gamers. Still waiting for Vesperia, Nier, Resonance of Fate, and other 360 titles to be added to BC. Losing Scalebound their only big upcoming game killed it. Also not getting Nioh, Persona 5, Nier, Yakuza and other Japanese games just padds the PS lineup while making Xbox look thin. Love all my systems but MS needs an epic win at e3.

All 5 of those games are just rentals. None of them are must-haves. If anything it goes to show how bad the situation is that those are it's top 5 exclusives. Quantum Break wasn't bad, but finished in like 9 hours with little replay value. FH3 was ok but got old quick. Halo 5 was probably the worst in the series and extremely disappointing. And Gears 4 was ok but definitely not as good as some of the others in the series. Worse yet half of them in that list are available on Windows 10 so you don't even need an XB1 to play them. Not a single one in that list compares to even the second-tier PS4 exclusives. It's frustrating because I still have my XB360 and when you go back and play exclusives on it, there were many that were actually great and were must-haves. Microsoft has just totally dropped the ball with XB1.

I didn't like Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5( i HAVEN'T LIKED ONE SINCE 1,2 AND Reach) Quantum Break, only racing game I like is GT(I never buy them but I've played Forza at a friends house and it's a no go. I beat Gears 1 and 2 but couldn't finish 3 so why would I want to play 4. So no I'm happy with Sony's exclusives. Now Alan Wake would be the only one that I would love to see on PS4. Other than that I'm not losing any sleep. I also hated the constint grinding you had to do in Sunset. It just wasn't fun for me. We got our kids an Xbox One for Christmas 2014 and they played it for a week and ask us to return it. They got gmes for the PS4 so they coud play them on my system and when I got my Pro I gave them my day one og PS4 and they love it and have since they've been playing it. Not agree with Halo 5, Gears, or Forza because they not only are exclusives but also has appeared on previous generation of Xbox. So a PS4 owner who would kill someone to play those three games on PS4 basically bought a wrong console.

Dead Rising is the only one that appeals to me. I played a little Halo 1 on pc and never cared to play again. And what's strange about Halo 1 is that I hardly play pc games. The one's I can think of are oregon trail, a tiny bit of the original wolfenstein, carmageddon, and the original prince of persia. Yes I despise pc gaming that much.

Microsoft has never had the games for me. I did, however own a used 360 for a few months so I could play ghost recon advanced warfighter 1, DR1 and geometry wars. Another fun game was cloning clyde. Then ps3 came out and that stuff was sold. If you are a fan of geometry wars you will probably like super stardust 10x more, it's on ps3, ps4, and vita.

Sony is on the right track. Keep pumping out 5-6 high quality exclusive games each year, maybe get some 3rd party exclusive games in the mix.

Nintendo is a blackhole for games. They need to follow Sony's footsteps and get more 1st party games out, with a new IP once in awhile. Their failures are not due to lack of 3rd party support and that has been proven, 3rd party multiplatform games don't sell well on subpar hardware.

Microsoft have very few 1st party exclusive games because they don't care. Keep the xbox as a universal multi-media device that can play games and they can rely on the PC market.

Multiplatform games need to bring the focus back to PC and stop letting outdated console hardware dictate gaming progression. The problem is the PC platform has no competition, the user base is bigger than all consoles put together and they seem to get shafted because the focus tends to go for the couch potatoes.

Now all gamers are happy!

Sunset Overdrive is cool but couldn't get that into it luckily I paid £5 brand new... how many collectables tho. Quantum break was amazing got 1000/1000 in it but would I kill for it... nah. Gears 4 was alright came with console and wouldn't have got it otherwise not played halo 5 was busy with the collection but after 4 years they've got 5 games "to kill for" barely. Forza Horizon was pretty cool as well but then I'd not played 4,5,6 or any of the horizons before. Still don't that little lot in barely 3/4 months sold the console now it needs more games for me to keep it.

Halo 5 was great, the story was a bit meh, didnt like playing as locke and the rest of them divs, its all about chief and blue team. Multiplayer was great too, but i was so shite with a joypad i couldn't enjoy it, but i wanted to, really badly, just put me off were i was so crap. But a fine game, Forza Horizon 3 was probably the best racing game i have ever played, i just couldnt help thinking i wish i could just get out of my car and run around gta style, great game though.

Gears 4 I haven't played yet aside from a small bit at gamer con and that seems pretty good so I would say those 3. QB is good but not worth killing anyone over and if you're looking for SP in halo 5 I wouldn't bother cuz it was trash. For multiplayer gamers though i can see halo 5 being a big want.

I have played through and beat Quantum Break... IT SUCKS! TV show sequences are way too long interrupting gameplay for like 25-40 mins per break or at least that's what it seemed like. Honestly I started to skip the TV Show sequences and just watch the quick update after the next chapter. Some pretty cool ideas for gameplay... But the delivery of the mixing TV Show/Videogame absolutely kills this game in my opinion.

Sorry if I enjoyed those games. Driveclub was one of my most played PS4 games for a while. I really enjoyed Uncharted 4. I agree Second Son wasn't anything too special, but I still had fun with it... it was definitely the worst Infamous game but, that doesn't mean it was a bad game. I really liked Until Dawn too... it's nice to have something that's not the same as every other game. I'm not much of a generic shooter fan, so I like how diverse the PS4 catalog is. Ratchet and Clank surprised me to be honest. I didn't think it was going to be anything special, but I ended up having a ton of fun with it and it was also a lot harder than I expected. I thought it was going to be a super easy kid's game, but I was wrong.... I never played the original Ratchet and Clank so it was all new to me going into it.

The only two Xbox exclusives I care about are Sunset Overdrive and Rare Replay, but neither was enough to get me to buy the system and the former is less relevant now that Overwatch is a thing so I don't even miss it that much anymore. There's also Ori and the Blind Forest, but I have a gaming laptop so...I'll just have to make time to actually turn it on. I do not miss Halo or Gears or Forza. Now excuse me while I weep that Mass Effect Andromeda isn't all it could have been while I have access to great exclusives such as Horizon and the upcoming Persona 5 that my Xbox brethren won't be able to play, unless they also have a PS4.
