Overwatch Finally Gets A Report System, And It Is Beautiful

For the longest time Overwatch has been lacking in the report department. Sure Overwatch already had a report system in place, but it could hardly be called one. The system in place was far too simple for the complexity of the game and felt lacking in the needs of the user. It felt as if screaming into the void where Blizzard would never be able to hear or act on the reports.

Oh, I can imagine all the terrible players reporting already. "tey uzd Widowmaker, shz dummmm...plz ban". Geez, as much as I love Overwatch and competitive, I HATE the extremely toxic community.

it happens in a lot of competitive games but at least there is something and if enough are reported what they should do is go to level 2 and somehow have a moderator follow the user.

People take overwatch seriously lol. I enjoyed the beta but I was waiting for a price cut before I bought it. After seeing the petty shit the community was fronting over i said fuck it altogether lol. The first time a community pushed me away from the game. And I played cod for years, that's how bad the overwatch community is lol.

Move them into defcon red and have the moderators follow them around somehow? Lmao really dude?

I think people just need to stop crying over every single bad thing that ever happens to them in video games. Sure, report people for cheating and harassment sure. But, reporting people for petty remarks like "Get off Widow you can't aim for shit" or just simple one line insults and then claiming it as toxic behavior is no different from what you'd get at any other competitive environment in the real world. People are too thin skinned to handle smack talk in those environments so they can't handle it online as well then blame other people as a result.
