Something interesting started to happen in 2016. The exclusive "war" between PS4 and Xbox One took a sharp turn: Sony's console had always toyed with an edge over Microsoft, but at a certain point that edge started to cut. Uncharted 4 seemed to kick things off, but it's here in 2017 that Sony's lead has become insurmountable. The PS4 has Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, Gravity Rush 2 and Nier: Automata, all right in a row, with no real answer from the competition. Microsoft seems only to founder, with delayed or canceled projects and follow-ups that fail to match the glory of their predecessors. An interesting phenomenon, good news for Sony, and ultimately a totally pointless comparison. Neither of these platforms has the most, or the best, exclusives, not by a mile.
Sony has quietly lifted regional restrictions on multiple PlayStation titles on Steam, allowing more players to access their games worldwide.
Thank you for using the term "region" since that was always what happened. The amount of media that used the term country led to many misinformed people.
According to SteamDB Statistics:
"The use of the word "subdivisions" below refers to states, provinces, regions and other categories."
"Totals
As of december 2017, there are 250 countries, 4024 subdivisions and 45261 cities in Steam's location data."

PS4 is beating the Xbox One in both quality and quantity, like it or not Forbes. Besides the PS4 has Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, and Horizon as best exclusives. Xbox One has its share too but PS4's so far have stood out more
The Ps4 is winning the exclusives war by a mile
Xbox has no exclusives as they are also on PC. With PlayAnywhere you can buy an Xbox One, a Scorpio, or your very own pc and play the same MS 1st party games. As with Sony, most PS4 exclusives are timed exclusive. PSNow offering PS4 games you can stream them anytime, anywhere, on a wide array of devices. With time more ps4 exclusives will become available on non PS4 platforms.
For MS and Sony, both have their share of great and bad games. MS has FH3, GeoW4, Sony has HZD and Nioh. The war on exclusives is just a war that will never end, nobody wins. Even by numbers of games worth playing, it is still down to opinion. Many console gamers only buy GTA, CoD and Sports.
PS4 is starving of exclusives? Lmao u fail
Oh, it's Forbes again.
