The 'New' 3DS Was A Bit Of A New 3DMess

Honestly, it's probably the future. New phones and computers come out every year. Most electronics are replaced every few years, rather than the 7-8 that last console generation was. So many games at the beginning of this gen were crossgenerational and many games from last gen were remastered for this gen. They could release a new generation of consoles every 3-4 years and games could be released for two gens.

EDIT: We've already seen slim consoles in generations past, so as long as they're not going to drastically change the architecture it only makes sense to make use of the newer technology available at the same time. If I'm going to shell out for a slim version of a console I'd rather get a power boost along with it.

I just wish they would patch in camera control with the c-nub for ocarina of time

Yep the "New 3DS" (terrible name) was just a scam cooked up by Nintendo to get their diehard fans to buy their hardware again. The second analog nub was a poorly implemented solution to the lack of a second analog stick, and virtually no games took advantage of the new hardware. Nintendo really hasn't done a good job of designing gaming hardware for over a decade (including the Switch), they really need to just go software only at this point.

I liked it, 3d worked much better. I dont get the hate when companies release a revision with some improvements, its the way virtually every product made today works.

New 3DS is a great handheld. It's just Nintendo didn't utilize the hardware like they were suppose to. It wasn't a necessary upgrade, but a worthy pick up if you didn't own a 3DS.
I mean reiteration of consoles have been here since forever. So I don't know why people are complaining like it's something new.

The New 3DS was a seriously badly handled thing but I don't regret one bit upgrading just for the stable 3D effect. Obviously a waste of money to most but I'm a bit hardcore with my 3DS stuff. It's just a great handheld.

* New 3DS is the best one and I'm glad I upgraded to it.

It has more pure whites and doesn't have the yellow tint the old 3DS XL had.

Also better specs...loads and download faster..just the best iteration of the 3DS so far. It's a great handheld, not sure how people can manufacture complaints about it.
