In an interview with finder, BioWare’s Fabrice Condominas talks about how deeply the team explored procedurally generated worlds for Mass Effect Andromeda.
This would have been..... interesting
They pulled off their very best Matrix impression with that one...only to run face-first into several other bullets which left their characters looking a bit funky.XD
This would be or already is EA's no man's sky lol.
Instead they seem to use procedurally generated facial and body movements for the characters.
That would be pretty cool.
Should of axed the whole game and made Jade Empire 2!
Yes! God leaving that game as a single entry was criminal!
As long as they did not make it on Frostbite
The game is, at least to me, No Man's Sky: BioWare Edition. The game even has Sentinels for crying out loud. Add a "story" to NMS, change the camera, sprinkle in some more combat components, and add a big ol' pile of weird conversations and boom: Mass Effect: Andromeda.
I'm going to get this once I've finished Horizon. My expectations have sunk somewhat after reading all the negativity about it, but you saying it's No Mans Sky with a story and better combat has peaked my interest once again.
In exchange for the infinite universe and exploring they put in a story. So if the exploration part of NMS is your favorite, this might not be a good option for you. Not to say that the sceneries and exploring present in ME:A is not any fun, its just not as completely open.
Hey, let's take two failed ideas and smush them together! Yeah! Aaaaannnd.Time for lunch.
