FarPoint ; 'Back in June, it drew some criticism for making players feel sick,'
Ive never heard of that. On the opposite the game was praise for handling locomotion very well I think.

The Persistence sounds awesome.

Resident evil makes all my friends sick, including me. Driveclub is ok when you get use to it. It's like all the motion games get people sick. I was trying hulu in vr and I was starting to feel nausea as well. I love the vr. I just wish it didn't get me sick.

I know it depends on games and different people. However I read many good impressions regarding FarPoint and the motion was often well received. Maybe I missed some preview but I didn't see criticism about it

Take 1 Dramamine 30 minutes before playing VR games that give you motion sickness should help. RE7 and Marvils are the only games that give me motion sickness and that helps a lot. I went from only being able to play RE7 for 15 minutes day 1 to a 6 hour marathon session the next day thanks to the pills.

Now after a couple of weeks of tapering off the pills, I can play those games a lot longer without.

The more short (30-45 minute) VR sessions you do with an equal break between will really help you acclimate faster. Switch between games that make you sick with games that don't also helped me.

I don't have any problem and I routinely play EVE: Valkyrie, easily one of the hardest to get used to.

I think that if you let yourself get used to the VR by using the free stuff before going hardcore, you won't have this problem.

But then again you claim all of your friends get sick. Either you only have a couple friends or you're full of it and just trying to bait people.

PSVR does very well with motion sickness. This has been reported extensively.

VR is a very niche gimmick, with mainly "experiences", i wanted it to be everything but it just isnt.

finally!, being waiting for this game since its announcement some years ago, so many objects on screen using physics running at 60 fps is always mesmerizing to see.

Played the demo on PSVR2 - it's trippy as hell!

Awesome. I had this on my PS wishlist and was going to buy it Day 1. Seen as I have Extra, now I don't need to!
PSVR2 support too.

Abnor_Mal740d ago

Platformers are not really my thing, but I guess I can try it out on PlusExtra. In VR2 to boot.
