Idle games are becoming popular on console, but which are the best idle games currently available for Xbox and PlayStation?

Yes as long as the gameplay is good, their are plenty of examples but the more recent ones for me are Rage 2 and Days Gone there is a ton of repeating side quests on those game but because the gameplay is so good it doesn’t feel like a chore.

Smashing a single button forever more, in the hope that you'll dish out enough damage to hundreds and thousands of static enemies shouldn't ever be exciting. Let me get this right...the whole gameplay surrounds sitting there mashing a single button? Nothing else to it?
