"It’s much too early to say for sure, but it looks like Nintendo is off to a great start with the Switch. The Wii U had bit of a hot start as well, but something feels different this time. Perhaps it’s the near-universal acclaim that Breath of the Wild has received. Or maybe it’s the interesting selection of exclusive launch titles that you can only get on the Switch.
Whatever the reason, after a week with the Switch, I’m enjoying it very much. And that’s not the only thought that popped into my head over the last seven days…"

Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is undoubtedly the best way to play one of the greatest games of all time. The visual and performance enhancements remove any issues that you may have had to endure with the original game. It's practically flawless from that perspective.
Sadly, the Zelda Notes app really brings the whole thing down. Useful features that should have been implemented in-game have been relegated to your smartphone, and using it completely breaks immersion in this incredible world. I'm only thankful that it's not even remotely mandatory. Leave Zelda Notes to one side, and you've got the definitive presentation of a modern classic." - Ollie Reynolds | NintendoLife
NE: "We're looking at every single Nintendo franchise on Switch and evaluating how they grew and changed during the Switch's life cycle."
The composer took to Twitter to share that he actually stepped back from the position in July 2023, though this is the first time he has publicly acknowledged it.
i got burnt with the wii (shovelware to no end, horrible implementation of their revolutionary wiggle-about controls). i got burnt with the 3ds as i fell into the crappy ambassador program). i got burnt with the wii u (no games far and wide).
regarding these incidents you and every other apologist out there needs to give me a break already. on top of these mentioned incidents stands nintendos lame excuse for an onlineservice.
nintendo does not only not learn - even sadder they have become the epitome of being unable to deliver.
and my final point: i've been playing the nintendo titles of the past decade. they are merely a shadow of their former selves. their franchises have become the definition of stale. i can't be the only one who notices this. so leave me alone with your "i only want and need zelda". i wouldn't play this dated piece of game even if it was the last one on the planet. i am so tired of the open world formula because we've been playing these kind of games ad nauseum. nownintendo comes out with a cel shaded open worlder and i couldn't be more bored of it.
