SteamWorld Dig 2 Debuts Exclusively on Nintendo Switch

Sequel to the 2013 Nintendo 3DS game has been announced.

Steamworld did was an amazing game in the Don't Starve, Terraria, and the mines of Stardew Valley. I loved it.

Steamworld Heist was even better, and I had more fun with that 2D XCOM than I did with actual XCOM 2, which I liked a lot. This Steamworld empire is phenomenal!

The fact that Nintendo understands they need exclusive content outside of their own games is another huge plus. I am sure its a timed exclusive, but even so this is good news for what the future holds.

I'm pretty sure the game did well enough to not have to have Nintendo get involved for another one but for some reason some still see these deals are beneficial to the consumer somehow.

Runner 3 is a switch exclusive but I believe Steamworld dig 2 is timed.

I was yelling the word "yes!" over and over again when I saw this.
Steamworld Dig is one of my favorite smaller series from an indie dev, and seeing the sequel hit Switch is a dream come true.^_^
I'm very hyped for this, Yooka-Laylee, and many others.
I have so many good games to look forward to now that I can't help but question why anyone thinks the Switch will have tons of droughts.
Year one will be very entertaining for me; I don't even care if a select minority of AAA multiplats don't make it, at this point; I'll be entertained regardless, as will millions of others.

I assume most of us on here are employed adults. Just get a PS4 Pro, a Switch, and as nice a PC as you can afford. You're set!
