Black Desert Online is Pearl Abyss's buy-to-play action MMO, the game has a lot to offer, but why did so many people quit playing a couple months in?
A Final Fantasy XIV fan has embraced the way of the Warrior by creating an axe-shaped controller for IRL Fell Cleaves.
The Final Fantasy XIV Crystalline Conflict Community Cup North America 2024 just ended yesterday and Dubstep Nation won.
Patch 7.2 brings a ton of new updates today, with others like Cosmic Exploration and the Occult Crescent coming within the next month or so.
I remember Black Desert being a big thing when it came out, then I just stopped hearing about it. I guess this explains why. Ha. I'm glad to hear the game is doing better now though.
Worst game engine ever built.
Trust me on this. The stuttering and pop ins and freezing frames destroyed the game.
" Leveling from 1-50 no longer took a month, but days. Pearl Abyss raised the soft level cap from 50 to 56, which still took a couple days to reach if you didn’t have much free time, but opened up the game much more"
That's good if you want to appeal to the mainstream audience, but I hope some day a developer will stand up and release a game in which you cannot reach end-game in a matter of days. I guess games like that aren't all that popular anymore, but there's still a lot of people out there who like it that way. I love me some oldskool grinding and an ever expanding loothunt.
