Developed by Eyedentity Games with Nexon as the publisher in South Korea, Dragon Nest II: Legend entered Closed Beta a couple of days back. As mentioned in previous articles, the game takes place 500 years before the events of the PC version of Dragon Nest, with Gold Dragon Geraint as one of the 3 playable characters. Initially thought as playable, sister and Silver Dragon Argenta is a story NPC.
Announced last year, Dragon Nest II: Legend is the prequel of MMORPG Dragon Nest, which takes place 500 years before the game events. Earlier today, it was revealed Nexon will be the game’s global publisher, with the exception of China and Southeast Asia. According to media articles, developer Eyedentity and Nexon will cooperate by combining both companies’ expertise in global services.
MMOculture: Earlier today, South Korean publisher Actoz Soft and developer Eyedentity Games, both subsidiaries of China’s Shanda Games, announced several new mobile games for its 2015 global strategy. Announced first was Dragon Nest II: Legend, which takes place 500 years before the current Dragon Nest story. The characters are now more adult-like, but I guess gamers are too pissed to really notice.
Actoz Games are prepared to introduce about 30 mobile games to the global market, as well as provide locally customized services for North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Next up in the pipeline are Dragon Nest: Labyrinth, Dungeon Striker: Code M, Wonder 5 Masters, Dragon Eyed, Grand Chase M, Kai-ri-sei Million Arthur, Summon Rush, Exos Saga, Soul Gauge, Adoonga, and Retimo Adventure.
