Maybe RE7 but VR is still new and untested
RE7 is a better experience on PSVR and the VR version deserves to be considered for goty. It shows us that you can make a full AAA with legitimate combat and locomotion in VR. It is jaw dropping how well RE7 works in VR.
Rez Infinite was one of the best games of last year. RE7 is a masterpiece in VR design, but I doubt it can stack up against other games releasing this year. As time goes on and VR games get better, then there will be more of a chance.

A great game's a great game. The way you play it shouldn't affect its credibility.
