Ashly Burch is a great voice actor. She voiced Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2, and Cassie Cage in Mortal Kombat X. If you are familiar with both of those characters you probably realize how different they are. Ive watched a lot of her video series on youtube and she is both genuinely funny and creative. I dont know about the whole mascot thing, game mascots usually go through many voice actors in their time. She would make a good mascot from a marketing perspective playing herself. She has that quirky, likably attitude similar to Flo from the insurance commercials.

I knew this from the second they revealed it, oddly it was kept under wraps, but my wife is a huge fan of her channel and recognized it instantly.

The graphics of the game look good & the reveal had me somewhat interested but the more I saw of the game the less interesting it was. Nothing really intriguing about the story or the main character. I'm definitely passing on it no matter who the voice actor is.

I guess. I'm not a fan of hers or her brother but I'm not opposed to it either. She is talented and quirky, but her YouTube series left a lot to be desired. But she's several years removed from it now and I'm sure has learned a lot through experience.

Still don't think I'll ever see her as an icon, because I don't find Nolan North or Troy Baker to be Icons either.
