2008 PS3 Fall Preview

Although Sony's PlayStation 3 has been out for nearly two years, the console hasn't quite taken off the way many thought it would. This could be the year that that all changes, however, as this holiday season's lineup is an impressive one. Gone are the days when the Xbox 360 got the "primary" version of each game, as there are some titles (most notably EA's Mirror's Edge) that were built from the ground up to capitalize on the PS3's unique architecture. Sony's lineup is very strong this year too, with titles like Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet fitting snugly between this year's Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2, which is due early in 2009. LBP, Resistance 2 and Pacific Rift will fullfill my gaming needs this fall before KZ2 in Feb 09! a platformer, FPS and Racing complete package and all are exclusives!

hehe...actually, that's the most I can afford based on my wallet!(T^T) I might swap LBP with SOCOM though. that BT headset is kinda cool! I hope my girlfriend will give me one also!

The paid, biased, media is the only ones who think sony's ps3 hasn't "taken off" like they thought it would. Consumers who actually do own it love it by and large. There is no question it is the most quality enhanced console ever released. The ps3 is a true set top box.

Only anal beads like Asscroft from Kotaku and Luke Plunknut think otherwise.

Rise of the Argonauts has been delayed till November. Perhaps they are adding trophies.

Everyone talks about this game, but I've seen little on it. Is it really going to be that good?

Nevermind, I just watched osme vids on it. Looks interesting enough. I'm kind of looking forward to it now myself. I fear it might turn out like a broader Conan, though.
