Amazing studio and i hope gamers buy Horizon. A fresh ip, a fresh universe and not something milked. A really hope gamers buy this game!!!.

UCForce2789d ago

Yeah, I agree. It is something that I'm glad that GG didn't waste their talent.

I want to watch the interview because I am fascinated by their process moving to this genre. But I've gone in pretty blind, and I want to keep it this way. After beating Horizon, I am going to go back and find all of these interviews to watch. Similar to how I enjoy looking at concept art after beating a game. I like seeing what they were trying to accomplish directly compared to what I played.
I hope people support this, too, because this was a really ballsy move.

GG has a lot riding on Horizon, and at the same time they and Sony are obviously confident that it will be successful, judging by the amount of merchandise and marketing. I'm looking forward to the game, and hope that the gameplay and story will be enjoyable.

Horizon Zero Dawn PSN Price Secretly Increased by Sony Following Remastered Announcement

Sony has secretly increased the price of Horizon Zero Dawn on PSN from $19.99 to $39.99 a day after announcing the remastered version.

Knightofelemia12h ago

Just another reason why physical is better then digital.

Goodguy0111h ago(Edited 10h ago)

holy crap this is funny lmao

Edit: just checked and it is lol. Google still says it's $19.99 but once you get to the store site, there it is.

blackblades10h ago

Not surprised buisness wise why have the OG low price low when people can just buy that and then upgrade. I don't think its the 1st time that happened considering its not the 1st remaster/enhance of a ps4 game. So as said it was expected tbh. Whoever wanted the game wouldve had it by now

Petebloodyonion45m ago

The same happened with TLOU part 2 when they did the remaster.

Extermin8or3_8h ago

It's to stop people buying it really cheap and then just upgrading. Considering people can upgrade even if they own the free version given away during the pandemic though they are being pretty generous anyway.

excaliburps1h ago

"It's to stop people buying it really cheap and then just upgrading" -- yes, and they took that away and you're OK with it? No wonder Sony can pretty much do anything when it comes to pricing. LOL!

andy8543m ago

And this is why physical needs to be backed for as long as possible. You can buy the physical game for £5

Me inserting my physical disc I bought used in the drive. Long live physical.

“There is a lot of talk about A.I., for example. When that happens, everyone starts to go in the same direction, but that is where Nintendo would rather go in a different direction."

Good on Nintendo for not chasing the next big thing.

Aussiesummer8h ago

Well nintendo has always been about innovation so I'm not surprised.

KyRo6h ago

Always? I feel the last time off the top of my head that they were innovative was the 3DS/Wii era. They are very successful at what they do but I wouldn't say they are as innovative as they used to be.

Venoxn4g6h ago

Well, in my opinion they have popularised hybrid console which is the Switch

KyRo5h ago(Edited 5h ago)

Your opinion is correct. There's no denying Nintendo's influence on the handheld market that's paved the way for the ROG, Steam Deck, MSI Claw etc but apart from the dock to get a small jump in power, it wasn't really revolutionary, even back when it launched. It was a more refined concept of the Wii U which again wasn't new or groundbreaking back then either.

badz1498h ago

LOL simply because they don't want to invest in it and stick to their outdated approach. See the next pokemon game on Switch 2 will look like something that should come out during the PS3 gen

Profchaos6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

So a custom art style vs GTA trilogy style mistakes through their games

I'll take the art style thanks

WolfSeed8h ago(Edited 8h ago)

Translation: We'll wait until it's cheaper.

Relientk772d ago

Hopefully Vampyr 2 is one of those games. I wish they would make a Remember Me 2, but I know that's a pipe dream

smashman981d 15h ago

People really gotta start paying attention to these guys Vampyr and Banishers is so good.
