Resident Evil 7: Biohazard PS4 review - A glorious return to survival horror - TGG

Capcom´s Resident Evil 7 is a glorious return to survival horror! Simply put, RE7 includes the best parts of Resident Evil rolled up into a nice package. So RE7 is a must play for the fans with no doubt.

Aint really survival theres tons of ammo in the game and like a total of 15 enemies

Everything RE? nah more like PT with one reference of anything RE at the end....... Great game, but its not a traditonal Resident Evil game and it feels nothing like RE, puzzles were cool but not as scary as outlast.

More like there's "limited" ammo for "limited" enemies which means you have enough if you aren't stupid. Plus there's not a lot of back tracking like the old games where you could accidentally run into enemies you might have left to save ammo

If u would have actually played the game, instead of making up something random, then u would know that this game has a lot of backtracking, especially the first half of the game.

I had to backtrack around the mansion a LOT. Not real sure how you can say that.

Yeah, if u play on easy. Mad house mode is way different though that's the true RE of the game.

I'd rather wish they'd call it Sweet Home, game looks like a proper, although limited in scope horror game, but except for that title you wouldn't know its a mainline Resident Evil game.

Also that ending cameo..

That´s what Sharn (and others) thought. So I think that I will enjoy RE7 as well (I will buy it for PC though).

No it's not a classic RE game, last classic RE game was RE0. Mind control is not RE, zombies and the T virus is Classic RE

I honestly wanted to see a new RE game in the likes of Resident Evil CV or Rebirth, but that´s clearly not what Capcom had in mind for RE7.

If you are a RE fan you would have picked up on all the little things that squarely place it in the RE main story. And thats not even counting the ending...

But Its not a reboot of the 1st game though, so why have all the little references to the 1st game to make it feel like a RE game, why can't it just be one that fits into the series of titles ? , its got the number 7 right there in the name

I trust Sharn (the reviewer), but thanks for letting me know =) Yes, I do have one question actually. Is the soundtrack good and scary? Because the soundtrack has always played a huge role in the RE series.

Yes, the soundtrack is good, although some parts could be better but i'm sure u will like it.

I hope u enjoy the game, It's just like classic RE except in First person, that's really the only difference.

The huge majority loves RE7, I'm proud too say that classic RE is back!!!!!!!!

So I take it that she (and Capcom UK) was pleased with our review + giveaway. I´m really happy to hear it =) Because I´ve been a fan since the very first game (I played Biohazard 1 on a Japanese PS1 console, I was blown away!).
