After Lost Planet's reviews i don't know if i can trust their views when it comes to Japanese developed titles.

...but Lost Planet is an ass-kicking, action-packed shooter, with the some of the best mech action ever put in a game. The boss battles are more epic than any game Capcom has done....and they pretty much INVENTED the boss battle.

The reviewers that gave LP anything below an 8 (which is still too low, IMO), are f*cking retards. I've actually enjoyed it more than Gears, in many ways.
