Indeed. Shattered Skies is still my favourite flight combat game to this day. I hope this is able to capture that magic.
My platform of choice for this game is still the PS4 though because of the flight stick.

I like for simple fact that not many flying games out and I can spend tons of time doing tricks and causing my self to get a bit dizzy .lol

Bigpappy3067d ago (Edited 3067d ago )

Didn't know it was releasing on X1. Not for me though. I have played some of them in the pass. I want more complex games.

XXanderXX3067d ago

I want complex games also but sometimes you just want the game that provides fun without even trying to play it .

Spenok3066d ago

It hasn't been. As far as we know from Sony or the developers it's a console exclusive.

Spenok3066d ago

Disregard my other comment. It has apparently been confirmed for PC/Xbone.

Literally, the vast majority of these games aren't flight simulators. Don't write about what you don't know.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Has Sold 6 Million Units

Today Bandai Namco Aces announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has added another million units sold to its trophy case.

Luc20155d ago

Great game but too difficult. Couldn't finish it and moved on.

sinjonezp155d ago

I am with you. By mission 17 my mind was checking out. However.....Can we get a new one by now?

Luc20154d ago

Well done getting that far! I think I made it to chapter 7 or 8. That bloody timer! Would play this game more if it was a bit easier. I might try again sometime see if I got better

strifeblade154d ago (Edited 154d ago )

Generation is too soft. Game was not difficult by my memory. Great and fair challenge.

Gamist2dot0154d ago

Wwwwut?... Did you use same jet throughout the whole game???

FinalFantasyFanatic154d ago

I struggled too, I didn't get very far, I can't remember if the previous games were even this hard.

An excellent game, one of my favorites in recent memory. I only wish they made the VR mode span the entire campaign instead of a few select missions. And that they updated it for PS5/PSVR2, the resolution quite sucked in PSVR1.

ApocalypseShadow154d ago

Agreed. They could have sold a whole lot more units for VR users. To this day, I still go back and play those few missions. Stopped caring about the main game because I got so used to playing in VR. PC VR users would have bought copies as well.

Hopefully we get 8 or a remake of earlier entries.

Not even available physically in the US apparently. Good job Namco

jznrpg333d ago

That’s always disappointing

Sgt_Slaughter333d ago

Namco/Capcom/Square are notorious for skipping the US for physical releases of some games and it's always a disappointment. It's much easier to import nowadays, but we shouldn't have to resort to that.

jznrpg333d ago

Fun game. They should have made a PSVR 2 port as well.

Snookies12333d ago (Edited 333d ago )

I honestly thought it did have PSVR 2 support, but was sadly mistaken. I was excited to check this out when I bought mine. It is so incredibly stupid that Sony hasn't figured out some way to bring VR 1 games to VR 2. Especially when they're barely giving VR 2 any support as it is.
