This thing should have come with replaceable batteries, ppl will be disappointed with battery life

rjason123065d ago

Handhelds have had disappointing battery life for years now. It's nothing new.

gamer78043064d ago

agreed, i hope xbox keeps its battery pack or AA rechargeable option, i have lots of recharbles that makes it cheaper and doesn't limit the life of the controller tied to a built in battery.

Melankolis3064d ago

I suggest you wating for "Switch Lite". Really, there's no advantage buying it on launch especially Nintendo's Handheld.

Gemmol3064d ago

im hoping you never brought any other system at launch if that is how you feel about nintendo launch.......and if you have not, then its fine, everyone have their way of doing their own thing

we all invest in a console launch, well not everyone in the world, but all the people in the beginning who invest help all systems to be where they are in the future........when developers see people investing in a system, they too start to invest............if no one invested, none of the systems be where they are today......imagine no one buying a ps4 when it came out.....all the developers would of move on to somewhere else.......so why act like an idiot to Nintendo new handheld hybrid, but I am glad people have sense on here not to listen to you and all the anti switch force who been working hard to change people opinion of liking the switch.......its a super powerful handheld, what is not to love

@Gemmol
1. The people here don't need to listen to me. They're not ordinary consumers. They know what's good or bad for them.
2. Buying console or software at launch might be my ideal world too. Should my financial situation allow me, I will do it. When the new version come out i'll buy again. Not because helping the producer by investing in their products, but because I want it.
3. I don't hate Switch. I want it to be successful. But I need to be convinced before I buy one. Just like they do when i bought my DS and 3DS.
4. To think that only by investing in their products will make producer starts to invest more is not completely right, a little bit naive I think. They always have roadmap even in the beginning. External factors like saturated market, competition, advanced technology should be taken into account too.
5. Feel free to call me an idiot. But I hope you respect people more. Just because I wrote one sentence that you disagree doesn't mean i'm trolling.

Melankolis3063d ago (Edited 3063d ago )

Idk why the disagrees for you? To be disappointed or not, replaceable battery means more freedom.

This is literally hypotheticals. The only charge time listed is 3 hours. The author of the article (and the source article) says the Switch *might* charge faster through the AC adapter, because it can theoretically draw more power. That means nothing. There are plenty of wall plugs that don't draw the full current from the outlet. Why is this being passed off as a fact in the headline? Really unprofessional.

Gemmol3064d ago

All the negative people who post on here approve this....let them approve their false information........everything they tried so far have not worked well......people on here fighting back and they love the switch

As long as i can use portable battery packs to charge it im good but no quick charge sucks
