Despite dragging in spots, Resident Evil 7's house of horrors recaptures the tension that first made the series a household name.
Resident Evil 7 has massively flopped by making fewer than 2000 purchases on iOS, with other console mobile ports also performing poorly.
Well at least there are games like angry birds or clash of clans for mobile gamers :-)
Apple users ain't gamers. I don't know whether this push with "metal" was just to say they did it and it's possible to run modern games, or if Capcom just said hey more units is better, but either way this shouldn't be all that surprising.
Mobile gamers only want simple games and gachas. Nobody wants to pay up front for a mobile game, you have to hide it behind micro transactions lol.
Fan favorite Resident Evil 7 is coming to mobile, but once again, Capcom is only releasing the game on Apple’s latest phones and tablets.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Another solid review.
Vr. seems ok too :)
Can't wait for my copy tomorrow!
Mixed feelings about this one. I'm going to wait for the sure severe price cut that comes with these game in a year or two.
I still haven't played The Evil Within. I'll play that sometime this year and let RE7 price drop.
I loved the original Resident Evil. Play it on my PC way back with a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro and then played the remake on GameCube. Loved all the RE games from 1-4 and even RE5. Never played RE6 though. And RE7 reminds me too much of Outlast which I played when it was free for PS4 and didn't really care for it.
Did anyone here play and not like Outlast, and still plan to get RE7 right away?
