While it is still very much unfinished, Games On can't help but think that a game is perhaps not the best way for Bernard's fairy tale to be told. The artwork is so indicative of a graphic novel, and the inclusion of an incredibly powerful musical score suggests to them that his ideas may translate better into animation than gaming – it's very American McGee from a game standpoint, but just lacking the execution.
Luc Bernard, the author of Eternity's Child, writes on his blog that the PC demo of the game is now available on Steam. The demo level is not available in the full game, it's just for the demo.
Kotaku writes: "I got a chance late last week to get my hands on an early build of the PC version of Luc Bernard's Eternity's Child, coming soon to PC and WiiWare, and while the build was a bit too early to forge lasting impressions of the game I can indeed say that it is in fact a game, and Luc Bernard isn't just a figment of my imagination as I had long suspected."
