I’m a huge fan of Xenoblade Chronicles X. So much so, that the very sight of Monolith Soft’s logo during the Nintendo Switch presentation sent me into a frenzy. Considering how X ended, I and

Trailer had me excited, but I expect Nintendo to botch the Western release again (dub only), so that dampens my enthusiasm quite a bit...

Well since the console isn't region locked you can just get the Japanese release. Problem solved.

I played the first one and i'm not a nintendo fanboy (family bought a wii not me). It was a good game.

that's because the first one was regarded very well and offered so many hours of gameplay. Many people put in over 100 hours on their copies.

Hmm maybe ill go snag my sisters wiiu to play it. I know thats how ill be playing breath of the wild as well. Zelda has never been about amazing graphics and the two versions dont seem the gen ahead apart when looking at them side by side.

The first was amazing. I have heard talk of a port and if so i will buy it day 1. But the camera controls were terrible in the first.

Im glad to hear you liked it. Shitty camera controls can tarnish an otherwise amazing experience like in resi evil 1, 2, and code veronica x.

I think the problem was because it didn't auto lock the camera on the player. So in battles i would find myself staring at a wall as i moved etc. I only had the wii mote and nunchucks and have been told the camera was easily corrected with the pro controller. The wii controls were just not suited for the game. But its a great game.
