So why was this not in the presentation? I feel that they need to add more details to it. Yes it got an actual battle mode with new characters, but what else? I didn't see any actual new stages. Was the rumor going based off the 16 tracks just the DLC stages? If so, that is so disappointing and I don't see a reason to pick this up right away if you already own the DLC stuff. Hope they will implement some sort of discount for those who already purchased the DLC.

I'm not saying this is bad because Mario Kart 8 is probably the best one in the entry, but it is disappointing as I said going based off the rumors that there were gonna be like 16 new tracks.

They did show it, just in the sizzle reel and they didn't make a big deal of it.

They probably wanted to keep the presentation to an hour. Don't forget Treehouse live is demoing and announcing games tomorrow. A silly port is far less important than major titles like Splatoon 2, Zelda, Mario.

Really? I'm a bit surprised I actually assumed that it would be launch.

That's still pretty close and something tells me they might have wanted to work out a few issues before official launch and I don't think anything is wrong with that considering they still have a reputation to uphold.

I agree, I love Mario Kart 8. Glad they added Splatoon characters, King Boo and Dry Bones. The feather item and robbing boo item is also back! I'm sure more details are coming before it's April launch. Oh yeah 1080p sounds real nice too!
