Eagle Flight is surprisingly my favorite game on PS VR right now.

SoundGamer3046d ago

It's a good game. It's right up there with Batman Arkham VR for me. At least Eagle Flight has more replay value and multiplayer.

yeahokwhatever3046d ago

Rigs for me. Its just a completely legit VR game.

Has anyone tried "Here They Lie"?

My PSVR hasn't arrived yet but it's the only game out right now that I'm interested in, Until RE7 arrives.

SoundGamer3046d ago

I tried the demo and was extremely disappointed and got super sick with it. The way that you turn in that game made it one of my worst PS VR experiences unfortunately. Try the demo that comes with the demo disc and judge for yourself though.

I played the demo and it was my least favorite demo (Visuals were a bit off on the demo, causing headaches). But the game went on sale during the Holidays and I had read some reviews of it that liked it, so I took a chance and bought it.

That turned out to be a good choice, the game is MUCH better than the demo, and one of the most interesting games on the VR. It's weird, sort of like Eyes Wide Shut meets Bioshock's Rapture meets the movie Dark City. It's creepy at times, but mostly dark atmospheric. It's fun to look around and explore the world as you play, some of the locations are amazing to move though. The only thing is that the game was made for the PS4 and not the PS4 pro, they didnt seem to really increase textures or resolution for the PRO. I wish the game was improved for the Pro, but its still really good. If you have any interest in VR horror, I would recommend it. Don't expect a horror masterpiece, but more of a cult classic. The game is a bit adult at times, but no nudity that i have seen thus far. I would consider it one of my favs on the PSVR easily, along with Rush of Blood, Crystal Rift, Rigs, Time Machine, Eve, and Battlezone.

yeahokwhatever3046d ago

I agree. Its a pretty cool experience, but you gotta keep the movement type standard if you're not too pro with the VR movement yet. The game's alternate movement type will make most newbs really sick, really fast.

I got Rigs with it for Christmas which has arrived already but I'm not really bothered about that one. Didn't look great. I'm considering buying battle zone though as I've heard it's good.

Would you recommend it?

Showed PSVR to the family over the holidays and they were all (yes all 16 of them) blown away. It was fun watching them flinch, panic, and got lost/immersed in the VR world. Majority wanted one but realized they needed a PS4 so the cost was beyond their budget. :/

SoundGamer3046d ago

Yeah. Not really worth getting a PS4 just for PS VR but if you have a PS4 already and want to expand your gaming experiences, definitely recommend it.

Trekster_Gamer3045d ago

I've owned the PS VR for about a week..
Overall the experience if you are into VR is worth it.

The Star Wars Rogue One mission was brief but Awesome. Given it was free I have no complaints! Truely a Star Wars fan dream come true.

The free playroom VR was hit and miss, the platformer where you collect the little robots was a blast. I would love to see a full games based around that.

Robo Quest VR looks pretty slick with that fast gunplay.

Shadowgate VR looks good too, perhaps in the vein of elder scrolls.

thorstein63d ago

Shadowgate VR. Thought it might be connected to the old point and click game. But it still looks good.

darklaw62d ago

y'know, VR needs something can can only be achieved while in VR. Immersion isn't enough, it has to have a hook that is so cool that you would want to own one. Having the same games you could play on console doesnt warrant a purchase.

Babadook761d ago

Resident Evil 4 Remake and Village and Gran Turismo 7 alone make it worth it for me. The difference VR makes is so large it more than doubles the enjoyment of these types of quality VR ports. So I disagree. I would love a future where all great 2d games got some kind of a hybrid port to VR.

PSVR2, PCVR, and Quest VR Are About to Have Some of Their Best Months for Games

Virtual Reality (VR) gamers will be eating well the next few months with what seems like solid titles releasing from now until December.

DaReapa210d ago (Edited 210d ago )

Has Hitman: World Of Assassination been confirmed for PCVR? If not, then this article is seriously misleading.

CrimsonIdol210d ago

It's confirmed on Steam VR yes. It's right there on the store page.

bigfish210d ago (Edited 210d ago )

I’ll have to put the dual sense down and pick up metro and alien vr to see me out till the end of the year. Good to see companies supporting psvr 2 .

Babadook7210d ago

Looks like a tremendous few months coming up. I won't be able to keep up with these.

UltimateOwnage210d ago

VR is really starting to flesh out recently. The hardware is finally getting accessible and with the quality it takes to deliver a compelling and immersive experience. Good times ahead. I hope Flat2VR Studios can bridge the gap with some excellent conversions as the industry matures.
