Well, there aren't too many serious, multiplatform competitors in the genre (DiRT being the only one I can think of), but these are still good numbers. I'm not a fan of the series, but I did enjoy Untamed.
I never really liked off-road racing for some reason... it just never really excited me.
Grats to THQ though, good sales for them means good for the industry, which means good for us.
You need to play Pure. I dont like off-road racing, but hot damn if that isnt the best one out there.
As THQ readies the release of its next MX vs. ATV game, which will experiment with a new pricing model, the publisher says the off-road racing franchise has sold 10 million units since its 2004 debut.
THQ CEO Brian Farrell has been talking about the next MX vs. ATV game for several months, but the game is just now officially debuting this week at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season opener in Anaheim.

No matter what they call this game,it will still never equal one of my favorite PC games,Motocross Madness 2. I get this game every time a new one comes out. Although the control of reflex left me cold. I hope that the new one coming out goes back to the old style of control.
The one thing I miss the most about McM2 was the track/enviorment editor. There use to be alot of user based tracks out there that really extended the value of the game.
I do like the price for the new one.In this day of being a frugal gamer,its nice to see a a lower price!
10 million....in 6 years...on different titles and sequels..thats NOT a big deal...kind of small chips in my opinion.
