He's designed so many characters over the years, it must be hard to keep coming up with something new.

jaymacx3077d ago

plus ,(speaking from experience) its hard when you have a distinct Art style to make characters look different. Because after awhile all your characters start looking similar. I give credit to him because he's done so much.

How cool would it be if vegeta or goku made a cameo appearance at a bar or eating or something

phoenixwing3077d ago

imo that would be horrible. Just because the art direction is from the same guy doesn't mean we should have cameos of those characters to break the immersion of the franchise.

colonel1793077d ago

How would it break immersion if the characters have the same art-style? Every character from Toriyama could be mixed and you'd never know!.

phoenixwing3077d ago

@colonel

He wants DBZ characters in a DQ RPG. Basically you would see characters from another universe, it's more about story and universe continuity than it is about art style.

What about Chrono Trigger cameos? Frog

Bismarn3077d ago

After all these years it must be hard to come up with entirely new horrible-looking noses. Eventually he may break down and just remove noses like other anime designs.

Lol he can just borrow the character creator from Xenoverse. Problem solved, I swear they all look the same with color swaps.
