Playtonic has officially announced they had to let some of their staff go; ask that other developers offer them a position if possible.
Layoffs are always sad but in this case, it makes sense? They've only developed two games of their own and their third is a remake of the first that's been taking a very long time. I can't imagine there's much revenue flowing in to sustain them

Yes please! been a fan of this series since i played it on PS1, PS2 and SEGA Dreamcast. Also, i didn't know it started on Super Nintendo first until i read the Wikipedia on it. According to the info on their Twitter page @Genki_Official who i'm following, they will make an announcement after the countdown ends!
To bad need for speed don't have straight tracks as this game does , to many drifting and curves in latest recent need for speed. Criterion's mostwanted,hotpursuit,rivals , reboot need for speed waaaaaay to much drifting around curves, not enough straight roads.
