I love Gentiana and Aranea, he's very good

indysurfn2833d ago

I can't open a n4g. page without that big green annoying add filling the screen EVERY TIME! Once is enoug but EVERY TIME!?

indysurfn2832d ago

@killZallthebeast this is the only one mine does not work against. I will look for another one.

ccgr2833d ago

Disorganized or not, the game still did very well

Godmars2902832d ago

You're going to have to expand on that. Something that's well known and had a high profile ad campaign while having the criticism of not a good story, if any, with only it's main open-world gameplay mechanic delivering is not exactly a "well done" RPG.

Godmars2902832d ago (Edited 2832d ago )

Again: enjoy does not = well done.

Obelisk922832d ago

Godmars290: Your last statement is definitely arguable.

PapaBop2832d ago

^^^ How? You can enjoy flawed things, FF15 certainly has it's flaws, but it still does many things very very well hence why many are enjoying it.

Godmars2902832d ago

Would think examples such as Attack of the Killer Tomatoes would speak for themselves.

shammgod2832d ago

I love it and feel the gameplay is awesome. The story is great too. You playing the same game homie?

Extremely unprofessional to make statements like these. He should have avoided the question if they flat out asked him. He might have been part of the problem or not... either way I would never speak ill of employer unless they were taking advantage of their employees

Chris_Wray2833d ago

Reports of disorganisation were to be expected, just look at how long the game took. But for the core story to have changed that much is terrible and a bit of a testament to how bloated gaming can be.
Shame about some of the redesigns though, his originals were great. Not that the current ones aren't also great... Bit of blue for the lads with Cindy, eh?

-Foxtrot2833d ago

Was the writers disorganized aswell because the story is muddled and really rushed.

MRMagoo1232833d ago

and the game play designers 😂

pootymcpoockle2832d ago

Gampelay was not the issue, as I found it to be the best since FF9. The only thing that let it down was the story.

Gemmol2832d ago

Side stories not good either but it seems we the only honest people on here, everyone just want to say its great......i think they have cognitive dissonance

Godmars2902832d ago

The world, as in the real one, is suffering cognitive dissonance. Between authoritarian conservatives insisting their guy won on a mandate and authoritarian liberals which is just an oxymoron.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2832d ago (Edited 2832d ago )

there was a story? I got to chapter 14 and only part that felt like it had a story moment was the beginning and chapter 11-13

FinalFantasyFanatic2832d ago

Yeah, I'm on chapter 7 and I'm not feeling the story at all, it pretty much doesn't exist at this point. Plus there doesn't seem to be much going on with any of the main characters either (What the hell was with Galdio and Noctis just before the titan fight? Did I miss something there)? Game play is fine, the ost seems very small though.

I'm surprised it came together like it did. I guess they just filed off a lot of the edges until things just stuck together, one way or another.

Miyamoto: Nintendo Won't Be Opening Museums In Other Locations

"We have no intention of expanding" - Miyamoto

Feels like a missed opportunity, since Nintendo is loved all around the world, a museum in USA / CAN / UK / AUS / etc. would always be packed with fans.

Yi-Long42m ago

Kyoto is already overrun by tourists as it is. It would probably make sense if Japan finds a way to spread tourism out over more locations instead of just the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto) and Tokyo, to both alleviate the burden of tourism on those two area, while bringing more interest and thus tourism money to other areas.

Of course, that’s not something Nintendo needs to concern itself with right now, and it makes sense that they stick with 1 museum for the time-being, and in their home-city of Kyoto.

I’m also not sure how big the appeal for a Nintendo museum would be elsewhere in the world. Many tourists flock to Japan BECAUSE of the (pop-) culture, so they are interested in anime, videogames, etc. So Pokemon Centers and Nintendo Stores are very popular, always bustling with tourists who spend a lot of money there, and obviously a Nintendo museum in Kyoto then makes perfect sense.

But generally speaking, folks don’t visit a Paris or New York for it’s pop-culture, so a Nintendo museum would make less sense. Not saying a video-games museum wouldn’t/couldn’t work, I believe it could, but I think in the west it would make more sense to open a museum with a broader spectrum of videogame-exhibits, so not ‘just’ a Nintendo museum, but something much wider in terms of scope …

“There is a lot of talk about A.I., for example. When that happens, everyone starts to go in the same direction, but that is where Nintendo would rather go in a different direction."

Good on Nintendo for not chasing the next big thing.

Aussiesummer1d 4h ago

Well nintendo has always been about innovation so I'm not surprised.

KyRo1d 2h ago

Always? I feel the last time off the top of my head that they were innovative was the 3DS/Wii era. They are very successful at what they do but I wouldn't say they are as innovative as they used to be.

Venoxn4g1d 1h ago

Well, in my opinion they have popularised hybrid console which is the Switch

KyRo1d ago (Edited 1d ago )

Your opinion is correct. There's no denying Nintendo's influence on the handheld market that's paved the way for the ROG, Steam Deck, MSI Claw etc but apart from the dock to get a small jump in power, it wasn't really revolutionary, even back when it launched. It was a more refined concept of the Wii U which again wasn't new or groundbreaking back then either.

Aussiesummer16h ago

What the switch wasn't innovative? Cmon.

SeTTriP13h ago

He was saying that's what they strive for and that is a fact.do they always hit the mark?. no but it's in they're design philosophy all the same.

badz1491d 3h ago

LOL simply because they don't want to invest in it and stick to their outdated approach. See the next pokemon game on Switch 2 will look like something that should come out during the PS3 gen

Profchaos1d 2h ago (Edited 1d 2h ago )

So a custom art style vs GTA trilogy style mistakes through their games

I'll take the art style thanks

Translation: We'll wait until it's cheaper.
