IGN: Iga on Castlevania: Order of the Ecclesia

There's a tremendous amount of buzz around Konami's latest Castlevania entry on DS, Order of Ecclesia, and for good reason, too. The franchise is known for being nothing but impressive in 2D offerings - especially since the dawn of the "new era" of Castlevania with Symphony of the Night on PSX - and with the portable front being the main area of attack for designer/director/producer/Godfather/Overlord of the series Koji "Iga" Igarashi. Spearheading the series since his first start on Symphony of the Night, Iga has since been the voice of Castlevania on all fronts - often donning a classic Belmont-like whip wherever he goes - and is the man to talk to for all things Castlevania.

It only seemed appropriate, then, that IGN get Iga himself to come down to their LA office, demo a few new areas in the game for them, capture some direct-feed footage of him playing the game for their loyal and loving fanbase, and sit down for a chat with them about the series, Ecclesia in general, and the future of 2D Castlevania.

The story is too old to be commented.
