Ubisoft's always-online multiplayer melee title For Honor does not feature dedicated online servers, instead relying on peer-to-peer connectivity.
Discover the new season of For Honor: The Muramasa Blade, starting from June 13th.
Time for battle. Today, For Honor announced that its Year 8, Forged in War, starts on March 14 with the first of four new seasons. Each season will tell standalone stories focused on special weapons unique to one of For Honor’s factions.
This is a great achievement. Today, For Honor celebrated reaching 35 million players and announced that its first fully armored Viking Hero, the Varangian Guard, will join the game on February 1.
Wow, this game is still going! Have not played it yet but wondering if it's worth jumping into
I'm just going to pass maybe I'll try it out in a few years
Oh great!. We haven't yet gotten over the "always online" single player campaign, and the "no more split-screen", now we have to deal with 'peer-to-rage-quitters' ; servers. Just great.
This game is very quickly sinking in my estimations.
The PR & decision making for this game is dreadful!
It's gone from a day 1 purchase to a bargain bin for most by the sounds of it. It's certainly gone down in my estimations as well but I still think it'll be a good game. It looks to me like it's turning into more of a cash grab project day by day.
You would think always online would at least have one advantage... No peer to peer servers but NOPE!
Very disappointed. The P2P servers in the Alpha were absolute trash. Don't think I'll be picking this game up at all now, thanks Ubisoft.
