Daymare: 1998 gets its first gameplay trailer

I (Robin Ek, TGG) was just informed that Invader Studios has released the very first gameplay trailer for their upcoming survival horror game "Daymare: 1998". So, please enjoy!

I´m glad to see that old school survival horror games are on the rise again.

Word on that, because most of the "horror" games nowadays aren't anything more than pure action games.

I got one question though, will Daymare be released on PS4 and Xbox One?

I think it´s for PC only?

That´s what I´ve been told. However, if the game becomes a big success. Then I´m quite sure that Daymare: 1998 will drop on other formats as well (PS4, Xbox One and Switch).

That would depend on how well the game does on PC.

Good move that, since most of today's so called "horror" games is anything but scary...

Truth be told, most of the horror games that´s worth playing comes from the indie scene.

I was looking at the gameplay an hour or two ago and the foundation of what they are trying to deliver is very welcome especially now that third person survival horror games seems to be a dying breed. It's funny though, people wish for more variety in the gaming landscape yet praise titles that conform their most notable traits for broad appeal.

Ahh, The Thing. That's a game that needs to be remade because even though the execution was a bit poor, it's combat and "trust" system were great concepts that I would love to see improved upon.
