Interesting list. Love DS. TW3 should be higher. Fallout 3 and Uncharted (one of them) should be on here. Bioshock should be higher and Infinite may deserve a place too.

I probably made a mistake wasting my time talking to you, but I do love Dark Souls III and I'm probably better at it than you are, so I can't really completely write you off as a person. Would love to see your top 20 list considering the only good game it looks like you like is Dark Souls 3. You seem like a Tom Clancy/Call of Duty bro to me.

Really impressed with this list to be honest, there is nothing click bait-y about it, just a list of really awesome games.

While there are some ommisions and inclusions I would disagree with, if you take the personal taste of the writer(s) into account you cannot really argue, every game is a belter.

The Last of Us, Bloodborne and Uncharted 3 make my top 3, but boy is Dark Souls close too. I was interested and pleased to see that the list leaned towards the more modern games too, I always feel like some older games that were revered in their day haven't aged that well and if personal nostalgia is taken out of the equation the old games don't compare to games made with modern game design techniques.

all of the soulsborne series are god like industry changing stuff. i mean the souls created and popularized its own genre. the amount of games that tried to emulate it is staggering. heck even drukmann of naughty dog said they would like to try out their formula, and that bloodborne was one of his favorite games of all time.
