PlayStation VR may have had its estimates somewhat downgraded but it's still doing incredibly well worldwide. One of the bigger issues plaguing the medium, namely motion sickness, still remains a challenge to its acceptance.
God I hate this site. So much BS and fake information all day. .
Bad site but motion sickness is a real problem in VR and it doesn't seem to have a solution. Which is going to effect the adoption of the technology.
Which isn't true...RE7 for example does have several solutions to the problem with its different modes. It's true though that a minority is more prone to motion sickness than others. Most people don't have problems or get used to it after a while. Still it's a known problem which needs to be and is getting addressed.
Robinson The Journey had the weird "Pie Chart" style of camera control which was seemingly in place to prevent motion sickness. Unfortunately I found that out the hard way when i turned it off and nearly threw-up! I'd assume they'll go for a similar style of right stick control with the option to disable it for people who are fully adjusted to VR.
They are already.
I think it's honestly just one of those things that no company can really solve because it's not so much the technology but the individual. Like people who get vertigo from heights. I think it's time to accept the fact that some people just aren't built for VR.
