This has been a frustrating process for myself having been an early adopter on the Xbox One. I purchased this roughly a year ago knowing it wasn't a finished product, that there wasn't a definitive release date, and that bugs were almost an expectation. Fine, I was okay with this and purchased. I enjoyed what the game had to offer but this studio destroyed my opinion for he Xbox Preview program since they chose to develop a paid expansion prior to finishing the base game. There seems to be no accountability for a "Preview" game as they don't appear to need a final release window and they can charge for additional content. What's stopping all developers from doing this? Hopefully MS, Sony (even though they lack a "preview" program), and other distributors can enforce some rules or lock them out of IAP / paid DLC until when they initially sold you is out of a preview build.
This and a handful of other games started its very own new genre in the industry.......the Beta genre.
