Titanfall 2 Review | Gaming on PC

Titanfall 2 is one of the best shooters released this year. Respawn Entertainment mixed an unforgettable singleplayer campaign with an excellent multiplayer suite, creating the ultimate action package, something that every gamer worth their salt should at least try.

Its an amazing game. The story like LET ME BE REAL... The story could have been alot bigger... All the Cool badass bad guys you fight with the Unique mechs are fucking amazing... The story never tells you like the full story on them and they could have easily made it longer. Also i played on the hardest Difficulty the first time and beat the it.. It needs alot of work on the Diff. Feels to easy WAY to easy. Other then that amazing single player. The multiplayer is fun just most of the modes dont have people small player-base. But i am a BIG CoD fan and i enjoy the TF2 Multiplayer more then CoD...

Loved the singleplayer campaign but it's as you say, you need to ramp up the difficulty from the beginning or it's a cakewalk. About the story, it definitely feels like they want to make an ongoing series (for some reason it seemed like Star Wars to me) Hopefully EA won't kill the franchise due to poor sales.

My only problem with this game on PC is the already dying player base on pc!

GamingonPC3089d ago

The sales and free weekend helped a bit, though I feel that they did it the wrong way (they did sale first, free weekend later, so people had to buy it full price if they liked it)
Still, the player base is healthier than with the first one, considering that Titanfall 2 was released at a pretty bad moment (sandwiched between BF1 and CoD)

TBH any FPS game other then overwatch dies....

GamingonPC3089d ago

Not exactly. Rainbow Six Siege has more players now than it did at launch, BF1's numbers are pretty healthy, CSGO is stronger every day, etc. The thing is that it seems that player numbers are distributed between a few games and that's it. EA still has a shot with Titanfall 2, they need to support it carefully, just as Ubi did with Siege.

On PC? BF1 & Doom say hi and it's this year.

Edit - and yes, as GamingonPC said above, R6:Siege has been having some really decent numbers, consistently on PC, more because of community goodwill from Ubisoft.

I agree with this. The time travel mechanics. The sense of scale. The relationship with your mech. The bosses all had personalities. It's a wonderful game.

Yeah it was good, but it only did the time travel bit in one level. Dishonered 2 did the same thing. Now how about a game where it's implemented throughout the gameplay? Singularity says Hello (and deserves so much more recognition).

Never say never, I really didn't expect to ever see Space Marine 2 and 12 years later its almost here.
So there is still hope for all these games.

I've completed 5 of the games on the list, but the author forgot to include Advent Rising. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it bombed hard, and the two sequels never got made. It was Mass Effect, a console generation before Mass Effect.

The game is buggy and unpolished, it needed a few more months of development, but the potential was there. At the end of the game, you have all these super abilities, I remember the stomp attack that created a shockwave being especially powerful.

I personally think days gone will recieve some sort of sequel at some point. I'm personally also hoping it's not the rumored multiplayer online stuff. I'd think most that enjoyed it would rather thisnto.

Sony needs to dust off Sly Cooper and Days Gone so needs a sequel two of my favorite Sony titles. Bulletstorm I love great game wish it also got a sequel. And I wish Namco would finally give Enslaved a sequel another great game.

A best all time mecha game list without Zone of the Enders even on the list is 100% crap to me. Worth saying twice though not intentional
