Well if any gaming Company can succeed on mobile based on popular/casual IP types its Nintendo.
People seem to accept it so it will make them some cash. I won't pay money for a platformer on rails runner even starring nintendo. They got 2d mario done and good on so many platformers why would I want to play a half game on a gimped platformer.
