2016 has offered a lot of awesome indie games, and 2017 got even more indie games in stores for us. So these are the indie games that you don´t want to miss out on (2016, and 2017 titles).
The Humble Curve Digital Supply-Drop Game Bundle just launched today. It features games like Space Crew, Autonauts, Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, and more. As usual, you pay what you want. A percentage goes to support charity.
Jordan writes: "Whilst there could be some work done with the combat and control system, The Wild Eight performs well enough in all other aspects and presents you with more than enough gameplay to keep you entertained for hours."
Neil writes: "The Wild Eight sees you play out proceedings as one of eight survivors of a mysterious plane crash. And you know what that means? You must survive, by any means possible."
2016 was a really good year for indie games I think, but I believe that 2017 will be even better.
Vampyr is on my "must play" list for 2017.
It´s also worth mentioning that the Switch console is said to offer quite a few indie games as well (some of them are exclusives).
Virginia, best indie of the year
I'm hoping a game called 'AER' will make it in 2017. There's another game coming out that might not be indie due to EA investing, but it is by hazelight, who are a team put together by the director of 'brothers - a tale of two sons'. I think this game will be one of the best games of 2017. Brothers is one of my favourites. Cuphead has been mentioned. I think Rime might appear next year also.
