So its official. Switch 2 dethroned PS2 in Japan for the biggest hardware launch ever.
Tripled the switch launch numbers, yeah Nintendo's domination of the Japanese market is going smooth

I wouldn't exactly use that terminology. I am guessing that the system is limited when in handheld mode so it doesn't kill the battery in like 2 minutes. The dock just allows the system to run in full mode.
Well the Switch won't be able to use the full resolution when it's portable as it would if it were docked so there has to be some form of limitations but not anything that major
It's common sense it would use scaleable hardware. I also think the battery life will vary with each game.
I have a nvidia shield tablet and when I unplug it, it would disable cores for better battery life. For example, when plugged in it would enable all 4 cores. When unplugged, it would disable 2 or depending on if I choose custom mode. I get around 6 hours with single core. With all four cores activated, I get around 3 to 4 hours. But with all cores on, it is a freaking beast.
It is a cool function nvidia added on their tegra k1 processors. But I can't wait for the switch, the unknown specs are killing me with suspense :( :(
