I'd venture that between now and the eventual PS5 they will release a PSVR 2.0 to address any concerns of the current model and how it compliments the Pro. The base PSVR is ideal for the base PS4 thus the Pro will likely get one that really takes advantage of its capabilities. I can already picture them releasing it holiday 2017 or early 2018.

A couple of key features would be improved HMD screen for higher res options like 1440p and 2160p. Also, an improved HDMI pass through to allow for the unit to remain connected while not impeding the HDR signals from reaching the tv.

I think PS5 first, then not long after it PSVR2... Would be better to just make it for the PS5, no more need for that little box which they otherwise would still need.

Am expecting PS5 in 2019, releasing a newer PSVR before that would be a little ehmm, crazy.

a 4k screen in HMD will be so much

Highly doubt you see any PSVR 2.0 until the PS5, and by that time they might just skip 1440p screens and go straight to 4k. The current PSVR is actually better on the Pro, just that much of the early games dont really take advantage of it yet. I bought the PSVR and later a PRO, and the games that had PRO support weren't many and didnt really take advantage of the PRO yet, but thats coming. A few like Robinson are very noticeable, but others not so much yet. Even Resident Evil 7's VR demo doesnt really take full advantage of the pro yet.

Scorpio however could do 1440p out of the box if specs are truly what they say, so Scorpio might be the system to get for VR spec wise, but by that time, PSVR will have the development landslide going and have more to offer and exclusives. My hope is I can use the VR headset on Scorpio and PC, and that would make it even better.

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss4d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
