The CastleVania 1 Remake in Unreal fanproject gets Cease and Desist order from Konami

While fans of the CastleVania franchise may have been initially thrilled with one man's attempt to remake the whole game using the Unreal Game Engine, the franchise's IP owner Konami, is not at all pleased as they have reportedly sent a Cease & Desist order to the project's developer, this after a Kickstarter campaign was set up in order to fund the project's completion.
