I want the last guardian, but i have no idea what to expect lOl, will it be worth a decade of waiting?

Afrokk2792d ago

I hope its as good as it seems.

mikeslemonade2792d ago

I have confidence that TLG was worth wait more than FFXV.

InTheZoneAC2792d ago

probably not worth being a decade long wait, but that doesn't mean it can't be good. I've never been interested but I'm sure it'll sell well.

Sparta072792d ago

No game is worth waiting a decade for. Just hope is good. pre-ordered already, cause I liked what I seen so far.

S2Killinit2792d ago

Generally yes. For me, Shenmue is that one game.

Tetsujin2792d ago

I'll try the game since it will be my first experience with this style of game (when Ico and Shadow of the Colossus was out I was playing other games), and willing to try new experiences. I enjoyed Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls was a nice change of pace from the typical games at the time.

UltraNova2792d ago

Well what constitutes a game developed for 10 years? Dont pre-judge it based on dev time, thats the wrong way to go about it. Just read reviewes from people you trust and go get it if you like this type of a game. tLG is must buy for me just becasue of the 2 previous.entries alone.

BLUEBLASTER2791d ago

DUKE NUKEM FOREVER was worth the wait lol

IamTylerDurden12791d ago

No idea what to expect? It's a mixture of Team Ico's last two games. Look at Ico and SotC and marry the two, and it's basically that with a sprinkle of Never Ending Story.

Ppl act like Team Ico doesn't have a great track record.

Calling it.. PS4 Pro support coming soon enough....eight more years!

Jk

Rude-ro2792d ago

The pro support info from the article is only a rumor started by the person who wrote the article.

never4get2792d ago

Programmers shortage? Mass extinction of Programmers? No money to hire programmers. Deep Down, Final Fantsy XV, The Last Guardian. Japanese videogame industries have huge problem. 2006 japanese games drought all over again in 2016.

IamTylerDurden12791d ago

Or Pro support day 1. Name me one game that labels Pro support on the box. I bet the Pro patch comes a day or two before launch.

jer11222792d ago (Edited 2792d ago )

Wow this website needs to do a little research they already said that it will support PS4 pro at launch its going to be a day one patch. People alreqdy pointed out that it wasn't on the box and they confrimed day 1 support. If you do a little research and find out that it is coming out the day of. Problem nowadays as we get these websites that are gaming news but they don't even look up stuff they're just small websites that put out false information.

StormLegend2792d ago

This needs to be the top comment, because what he said is 100% correct.

TheOptimist2792d ago (Edited 2792d ago )

This should be in the actual post rather than the top comment. Journalists these days spreading wrong information is just sad -_-

UltraDSA2791d ago

FF XV doesn't have it on the box either which is weird since Pro patches are now a mandate. So regardless if it's on the box or not we can safely assume it has Pro support.

IamTylerDurden12791d ago

This thread should be taken down tbh. It's already confirmed as a day 1 Pro patch and the box issue has been addressed. It's honestly inaccurate information.

BizarroUltraman2792d ago (Edited 2792d ago )

To be fair its not the website, but the submitters and those who approve the articles. Also some of them do put updates to their submissions. Just saying cause I disagreed

Afrokk2792d ago (Edited 2792d ago )

I don't see the game on this list.
https://blog.eu.playstation...
I may be wrong here but TLG getting PS4 pro support on launch day isn't confirmed. Only thing confirmed is that the game will support the pro and upscale to 4K. Other details are "fuzzy" at the moment, according to Eurogamer.
Can you please link me to something that confirms day one support? So I can edit out the article.
Also, we're not spreading false info, don't say that please. Even if the second (speculation) part of the article is wrong, it's the writer's fault not the website's.

Liqu1d2791d ago (Edited 2791d ago )

That is a list of games that received PS4 Pro patches for the launch of the new system. The Last Guardian is releasing after the PS4 Pro was launched.

"The Last Guardian will be supporting PlayStation 4 Pro, with the much awaited game upscaling to 4K and bringing minor performance improvements on Sony's new console when it launches this December."

http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...

That quote says it will support PS4 Pro when it launches.

robtion2791d ago

It happens frequently yes. Even lots bigger websites(not mentioning any names, you should know who they are) have lots of biases and push their agendas by spreading false info or taking things out of context. It's pretty pathetic.

LamerTamer2788d ago (Edited 2788d ago )

Maybe they can't put it on the box if it doesn't support it out of the box on the disc. If someone does not have internet access then the game will NOT support the pro.

It is actually pretty irritating that you need to go online and download huge patches to get the complete game with the complete features now days. features should be included day one out of the box.
