FromSoftware Teases Possible Dark Souls VR Project Saying ‘We’re hoping’

Instant motion sickness from all that dodging and moving around like crazy. I prefer third person perspective when it comes to this type of game. I like seeing the armor and weapons in real time.

Third person games work really well in VR. Lucky's Tale although a pretty boring game is proof of concept that a third person game in VR can be awesome

I haven't tried LT but I did try The Playroom's "Robot Rescue" yesterday and that was a great proof of concept for a third person game as well. Also the way the controller transforms in the world was very cool.

Theres also bound, which uses multiple fixed cameras. that could be a nice take on the DS.

They should be working on patching Bloodbornes terrible framerate for the Pro. No reason the game shouldn't benefit from the extra power.

The Pro has not even been out a month. Give them time and be patient is what I say. They may be busy at the studio, we just don't know. But I'm sure people will be hounding their Twitter. If/when they do a Pro patch, it will be a great day. Might have to get Shuhei to knock on their door.

Bloodborne's frame rate is far from terrible,but they should patch it.

I bought it for my Pro and took it back. Terrible performance. Will get Driveclub instead. Just bought Infamous, Witcher 3 Complete, Wolf Amongst Us, and another one that I can't remember (oh it was Helldivers). Bestbuy had a b2g1f on pre-owned games.

SO you played ds1 and say it's pretty cool even though ds1 has the worst frame rate in the series??DS1 is my fav game of all time but my god the performance sucks,way worse than bloodborne's frame rate.

The problem isn't the framerate though...it's the frame pacing. No idea why they aren't able to fix it.

Yes please. Might as well get some experience making VR now at this early stage. Devs should at least be trying things out. Hopefully we will see something from FROM in the Future

OMFG mind is blown on this one. One of the first thoughts after trying it out was that we needed a proper game with a sword....NEVERTHELESS thought it would possibly be Dark Souls. Do it!
