While the game does have its fair share of technical issues and bugs, that might frustrate the users, there is no doubt that the visuals have been upgraded resulting in a game that looks like a big upgrade over the original Assassin’s Creed 2.

Not really, looks like the lighting model was changed and few textures added. It is almost like comparing a 2009 (the year Assassin Creed 2 was released) 7th gen game to one released near the tailed of last generation, but with higher resolution textures and more advanced lighting.

Some of the models look better but that's not really saying much considering how dated the games visuals are and it apparently runs at 30 fps.
