Expert Reviews: "The best PS4 you can buy today regardless of whether you have a 4K or Full HD TV, but existing PS4 players should be wary about upgrading"
With the launch of Call of Duty Season 4, Activision quietly put adverts inside loadouts for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, sparking a backlash in the process.
Putting Ads in a pay-to-play Premium title? Well done Microsoft. Well done /s This is really scummy.
While the Nintendo 64 didn’t sell the most units during its hallowed run, it did see multiple genre-defining games.
Worth going waka-waka over? Why, yes!
slow news day with the offbrand controller with a game deep into the nineteen hundreds on it
it's embarassing that you have to even ask a question like "the best PS4 yet?". I should darned well hope it's the best version out there, otherwise what would be the point to it?
I'm absolutely loving my Ps4 Pro, however i feel i have to say the following.
So far my Pro has frozen onscreen on three separate occasions and has crashed while playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider. I then, had to unplug it and rebuild the database. I have it in an open, clean and cool temperate room environment, but after an extensive play of a few hours, the fan can get a bit whirry sounding.
It also comes with all the inherent problems of my original PS4, when browsing the internet, in that heavily scripted websites will cause it to freeze and i have to either exit back out to the main interface, or worse, restart the system. I was hoping that the extra horsepower would have resolved these issues.
Disclaimer - I'm not trying to discredit the new console, as a games machine, it's so far unparalleled and it really shines in that department.
However, i may have been one of the unlucky ones with a defective unit?, it may be a bug issue with Tomb Raider?, perhaps an overheating problem or maybe bugs and early teething problem within the new system itself that can be readily addressed in a future patch?
As a games console though, for me it's a ten out of ten.
