Hitman Episode 6: Hokkaido Review – A Fitting End I The Koalition

Anthony Nash of The Koalition writes: It should come as no surprise to anyone that this year’s Hitman is a legitimately great game. Despite debuting in March and releasing in episodic form, the game has continued to garner praise from everyone (myself included) throughout the year, which is no small feat. The final episode, “Hokkaido”, released on Halloween and, unsurprisingly, manages to wrap up this game in classic Agent 47 fashion.

HITMAN - Episode 6: Hokkaido Review - GamerKnights

More:

"The first season of ‘new’ Hitman comes to an end in a private Japanese hospital, but is it a fitting ending for Agent 47? Story: Our bald assassin’s story has certainly seen up-and-downs this year, but unfortunately Hokkaido isn’t the best ending to the season. The tension and ante are upped once again, with two high profile targets to take out. But it’s the end cut-scene which let things down for me. HITMAN Episode 6 Hokkaido Review | PressA2Join

Adam Kheroua writes "The setting for the final episode is a spiritual vortex of a map, coalescing all of the previous maps into one aesthetically captivating scene. An uber-exclusive, state-of-the-art medical facility set against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji, Hitman’s final mission this year is easily the most impressive in terms of locale. After the sophistication of Paris and Sapienza, Colorado was a welcome change in visual tone, but IO has ramped the cool factor right back up to 11 for the season climax. The Gama medical facility is split into several distinct areas, all rife with various NPCs – both civilian and armed. The public areas of the facility are visually stunning, and IO’s ever-immaculate attention to detail is sublime. From the snow-capped centre garden to the mountainside spa and the authentic, tatami-inspired dining area: the Gama facility is seriously stylish."
