Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ released a new version of Brutal Doom 64. According to the release notes, this new version comes with better textures (as he re-imported all textures from D64 Absolution in .png format), a new system to make flares on lamps look much better, and better sounds.
I (Robin Ek, TGG) just found out via Andrew Hulshult that Sergeant Mark IV's "Brutal Doom 64" won the "Fan Creation Of The Year" award at SXSW Gaming Awards 17. So congratulations to Sergeant Mark IV to his "Fan Creation Of The Year" award =)
They should port BRUTAL DOOM 64 to Nintendo Switch. But that will not happen .
Modder ‘Sergeant_Mark_IV’ has released a new version of his amazing Brutal Doom 64 mod. This new version comes with new kick attacks (as well as a stamina mechanic in order to prevent spam), improved fire rate for the chaingun, a new weapon (Assault Rifle), Chaingun Zombies and a “Tactical” mode.
"Brutal Doom 64" is with no doubt a really well-made and enhanced version of "Doom 64". Hell, the game is so awesome that I even consider the game to be the real sequel to Doom II. In short, "Brutal Doom 64" is a must play for those who still enjoy old-school Doom games. In the matter of fact, the game actually even tops Doom 2016 on quite a few levels, and this is the reason why.
I am absolutely loving this... Doom 64 was my favorite in the series, to be able to go back with all these better visuals and controls is just fantastic.
In all honesty, I´ve had more fun with Brutal Doom 64 than I´ve had with Doom 2016.
@Simon_the_sorcerer "Congrats to him =) And I guess that you´re an uncle now then?"
That would be correct =) So I´m uncle Gamer now ^_^
